Tanya Hockley
Tanya, a Halifax High School graduate from the “vintage” year of 2005 (as Alyssa loves to remind her—“that’s the year I was born…old lady!”), is the heart and soul behind Stain.Paint&Create!
Not only does she run this creative studio, but she also juggles a full-time career as a property manager. Super friendly and outgoing, Tanya is known for her love of snacks and good company. If you bring treats to the studio, don’t be surprised if she plops down next to you, grabs a paintbrush, and joins in!
With a head full of creative ideas, Tanya dreams up all the awesome projects at the studio, though she’ll admit she’s a bit less creative when it’s her turn to paint!
In her downtime, Tanya loves to be with her family, her dogs, and, of course, her sidekick Alyssa. And if she’s not hanging out with loved ones, you’ll probably find her napping or on TikTok, finding inspiration for the next great idea!
Alyssa Johns
Alyssa is a 2023 graduate of upper dauphin high school! She pursued a career with the school and quickly realized she couldn’t be away from Tanya, her boss, that much! She is a very talented artist and loves creating magic with our customers.
Anytime anyone gets stuck with there piece she is our go to for help! She currently manages all aspects of the business of all three locations and is great to our customers! In her free time she loves going to smuckers for plants, shopping and going on vacation ( with Tanya).
Jr.
Jr is a 2004 graduate of east Penn in Enola, PA, he has worked in construction his whole life and is the brains behind all three locations floor plans! He does his best to contribute to all of our projects but gets sick of the same thing quickly, he is very thankful for our amazing staff that always finishes for him! He loves to meet new people and hear their stories.
When we have a new idea he is the one that thinks of the details we get stuck on! In his free time he loves collecting baseball cards, building RC cars with our son and camping! He also enjoys spending time with our four dogs!
